Garmin Nuvifone delayed…

Unfortunately, this iPhone Killer from Garmin is not going to be available in 2008 as previously announced. Now, the earlier anyone can own one of these is “First Half of 2009″. It just goes to show you that when you have not been in the cellular phone business, there will be stuff that comes up that you don’t know how to anticipate for. In that sense, Apple did meet their original schedule as announced.

LG signed an agreement with Dolby Laboratories today that will allow the adding all the audio processing technology of Dolby Mobile to be included in future LG phones. Now LG will be able to offer such features as Mobile Surround, Sound Space Expander, Natural Bass, High Frequency Enhancer, Graphic EQ, Sound Level Control, and Mono to Stereo Converter. The first phone with such feature will start to ship around end of this year. LG just upped an ante on becoming the true iPhone Killer.
