The latest rumor is that the Nokia wasn’t as happy with the success of Nokia Tube as they had initially hoped. So, they plan to launch a touchscreen version of their popular N-Series before end of this year. So far they’ve kept their secret hidden pretty well as there are no spy photos as of yet and no secret code name. We’ll be the first to let you know when we find out.
It took the original iPhone quite some time before they sold their first 1M phones (74 days to be exact). The Google Android based T-Mobile G1 were pre sold 1.5M even before the launch. Very impressive, especially considering that the carrier is T-Mobile.
What most people don’t know is that iPhone wasn’t the first all touchscreen phone launched. It was the original LG Prada that was announced and launched before the iPhone, sold over 1M units worldwide. LG has now announced their successor to the LG Prada with LG Prada II, which is virtually same design as the original one except for the pull out keyboard, addition of WiFi, 3G, and 5 Mpixel camera. It should launch in 4th quarter this year.
This iPhone Killer from Motorola is supposed be available next week from Verizon.
Update: The Krave ZN4 will be released on Oct 14th. Pricing is $149 (after $50 rebate) with a 2-year contract, $219 (after $50 rebate) with a 1-year contract, and $349 for those who have fear of commitment.
