Yes, it’s not quite as much as Apple AppStore’s 100,000 mark but very significant number considering the Android OS was launched much later than Apple’s AppStore and there are only a handful of Android based handsets. Given its Open Source Platform and with increasing number of Android based phones availability, this blog is predicting that within 1 – 2 years the Android applications will surpass those of Apple.
