Apple has reported that it has shipped 5.2M iPhones in Q2 2009 (The chart shows fiscal year, not calendar year) with the launch of the new model iPhone 3GS in the quarter. Very impressive with just a handful of models.

To put it into perspective, LG, currently #1 in the world, has shipped 30M (29.82M to be exact) in the same period, but with a LOT more models.
