It appears Blackberry will ditch the orignal name of Thunder and stick with Storm for all markets, not just the Verizon version which was the first one to be called Storm.

Here is the preliminary spec for the Verizon version supporting both CDMA and UMTS/GSM/HSDPA.

Apparently, there is a plan for GSM only version planned for the European market as well.
