We all know how much LG has been sucking lately when it comes to smartphones. After seeing Samsung’s success with Galaxy S line of smartphones, LG has started their own line of smartphones called Optimus One. One major difference being while Galaxy S is targeted for the high-end phones based on Android OS, Optimus One is more targeted for the first time smartphone owners or the lower end of the market. Well, it seems the consumers are giving them the thumbs up by purchasing 1M of them in first 40 days of its launch. Can they ride this success to more hit products in the future? Another announcement today said LG will offer high end smartphones next year running on dual-core Tegra 2.
