hm… Not for every1
Why is that?
You mustive just copied and pasted this info and never have touched the phone.
What is the difference between the lg voyager and the lg env touch? (otherwise known as the voyager2.) Also should i get the Env3 or Env touch?
I just got the phone and it’s pretty awesome. My GF upgraded to the Dare 3 months ago and is extremely jealous!!!! I’m just coming off the EnV Orange and this is exactly what I was waiting for. Browsing and streaming video playback work pretty well. It’s not a perfect phone (I miss the old space bar location and size of the EnV), but damn it’s pretty close without having to jump to AT&T’s Iphone line up.
Yes, the spec was copied from an official source. And I do own this phone and it’s very nice.
They both have full qwerty keyboard but the main difference is that enV3 has a numeric keypad for the face plate while enV Touch has the 3 inch touchscreen.
It all depends on what you want to do with your phone.
i have the voyager but i feel it isnt quite good enough for me, like it doesnt have enough apps or it just doesnt do enough. what are some of the features that make the env touch so much better? or is there another verizon phone i should choose? help?!!?
It depends on what you are looking for in a phone or what you want to do with your phone. There are apps available for purchase. EnV is great mainly for it’s qwerty keyboard and outside touchscreen. Big screen for easy browsing.
I didnt get the phone yet, accualy i dont got a phone, but i cant decide between the voyager and the enV touch. what is the difference? and which one should i get?? Is there speaker phone??
enV Touch is basically an upgrade from Voyager in every sense. The only thing missing is the Mobile TV that used to be on Voyager is not supported on enV Touch.
Env touch is better then all the iphones. Its got the camera of the Dare the txting keyboards of the dare and the voyager and the raw features of the dare and the voyager combined. Plus web browsing as fast as the blackberry storm. And has a touch screen similar to the iphone.
You can also download Mobile Tv on it as a free application
It is an amazing phone, but there are some issues…The t9 does NOT store all the words you put into it for whatever reason. You can set t9 as your default but it doesn’t always come up and sometimes when it does it pretends abc txt’ing is on. It still has the same problem of the all the ENV phones with txt msg prioritizing. i.e. it won’t send one out if someone is trying to txt you, verizon really needs to fix that issue. Major turnoff…
What version of software do you have? Supposedly, the latest firmware should fix it on enV Touch but not 100% sure. It’s currently only available from LG, and not from Verizon.

What about the drawing pad? How does it work… is it anything like the notepad on a PDA? can you use a stylus?
It works like the writing pad on PDA. You can write on the space with either your fingers or stylus, and it would recognize your writing.
sweet. Stopped by a verizon store last night and played around with a floor model… I m getting it.
yeah there is speaker phone kelli
I’m getting this phone in a few days. For the mobile web do I have to pay for that?
Yes, you have to pay either per MB or unlimited web usage for $15/month.
I am getting the EnV touch soon but Im reading everywhere the battery life sucks is this true?
My original one had some battery issue but after I exchanged for the new one, it’s been working great. I don’t have to charge everyday.
I have had one about one week, and the battery lasted about 2 days on the first charge. After turning off the vibration on the touch screen I got 4 + days off of one charge. Much better than my old phone.
I have had this phone for about a month now. The battery life is terrible and drains QUICKLY! The other issue I have is being able to send emails from my gmail or any other browser based email account. I am not able to post in facebook or login to my bank account either. I am hearing that the next firmware upgrade will fix these thing? Hope so because I love the phone, I just want to chuck it out the window at this point because of the browser issues.
It depends. The touch is more high tech, with a touch screen on the outside and a regular screen with a full QWERTY keyboard on the inside. If you find touch screens frustrating, get the NV3, which comes in colors. On the outside, instead of a touch screen, it has a small regular screen with numbers on the buttons.
does the nv touch need to be charged more than other phones? i mean, just plug it into a charger while you’re in the car on the way to work or school, or just charge it while you’re watching tv.
dis phone kannot download web kontent like free ringtones or wallpapers via mobile web it must be synched or transfer from mikroSD memory kard.also, few videos kan be streamed and watched but most will kause phone to restart.A bigg downside to dis phone
