The much anticipated launch of iPhone 3G didn’t go as smooth as Apple and AT&T had originally hoped for. According to AT&T Mobility spokesman Mark Siegel, some customers buying the device are having trouble synching their new phone to Apple’s iTunes service in retail outlets, which is required for the final activation process. Because of the issue, Siegel said both Apple and AT&T Mobility are telling customers to take their handsets home and attempt to synch with their iTunes account later today to complete the activation process.
So, what if it still doesn’t work at home. Do they have to go back to store or wait for an update?
