Rumor: CDMA version of iPhone?

The latest rumor is that Apple may be working on a CDMA version of iPhone to go after the market currently not able to be addressed with the GSM/3G iPhone. However, don’t expect to see iPhone in Verizon or Sprint store anytime soon. AT&T had signed 5 year exclusivity in the US market so it’s highly unlikedly that even if Apple releases CDMA version of the iPhone, they will be sold in the US. However, South Korea and Japan could see the new iPhone on their stores.

Guard your private data on iPhone

Apparently, there is a security flaw in iPhone which allows unauthorized users to gain easy access to private contacts and e-mails even when the device is locked. Apple has acknolwedged this flaw and said to be working on a fix.

In the mean time, guard your private data. Since the iPhone is a “connected” device, the only way to be absolutely sure is to keep your phone off.

If you are fortunately rich to have money left after paying for the iPhone and its monthly service fee, here is another option to have your iPhone stand out against all other iPhones and iPhone Killers.

Folks at Computer Choppers will have 24K Gold Plate available for your plain iPhone 3G. No price has been announced but I’m guessing it won’t be cheap.

iPhone 2.0.2 Update Released

It’s that time again where Apple releases new software update to fix the bugs that should’ve been fixed long time ago. And again, very typical Apple way, they are not disclosing exactly what’s included in the update or which bugs they are fixing. Speculation is that the new update should improve overall 3G experience with faster download and fewer dropped calls.

If you have the new update and experienced improvement, please let us know.

iPhone 3G coming to Best Buy

You can now purchase the iPhone 3G from Best Buy stores in addition to Apple and AT&T stores. What does this mean? Pretty much nothing. You can buy from all different places but the price is the same and you have to get the service from AT&T. Thanks guys.
