The online price will be $199 after $50 rebate and new 2 year contract. It is the same price as 3G iPhone coming out next month, but $70 more expensive than Samsung Instinct.
Apparently, Verizon couldn’t wait much longer either as they already put up the interactive userguide for the LG Dare on their website already.

You can buy your own LG Dare (VX9700) from Verizon store on July 3rd for $199, after $50 rebate with 2 year contract. LG was the first to come up with all touch screen, even before the Apple iPhone launch, with its LG Prada.
Some of the neat features found on LG Dare and not found on Apple iPhone are;
- 3.2MP autofocus camera with face detection, flash, and image editing capabilities.
- VGA video recording
- DVD quality video playback from memory card
- Handwriting recognition
- EVDO RevA (3.1Mbps download / 1.8Mbps upload)
It appears Verizon wants to beat the iPhone 3G release by pulling in the release of LG Dare to June 26 for online and Jul 3 for in store. Some new features not found in the iPhones.
1) Proximity sensor to turn off the LCD when the screen is near the user’s ear to conserve the battery.
2) Light sensor to adjust the LCD brightness depending on the surrounding light.
