Based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the T*OMNIA sports advanced widget features such as news, weather or stock information that are updated in real-time. Based on the model selected, the internal memory can range from 4 GB to 16 GB, and comes stocked with a 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth v.2.0.

I don’t know what kind of bugs the new software update is supposed to fix but it’s HUGE. 108MB. If you own one (which means you don’t live in North America), be sure to take advantage of the update.

Italians will be able to pre-order the Samsung OMNIA and get a free XBox 360 as promotion now, as the phone will launch on July 22nd. The price of unsubsidized 8GB version will be 499 ERU ($794).
