This phone is awesome! Its like the little cousin of the iPhone. You get alot of what the iPhone gets, except the hight monthly bill.
Also there is a great forum with a bunch of users. www.samsung-eternity.com
I have used this phone. The Windows Mobile OS has done this model in. An excellent camera with a truck load of features, plus a good effort from Samsung to present a decent phone has gone in vain.
Advise to Samsung: dump Windows Mobile. I am sure your own OS will be good enough.
Well i have had the pleasure of using this phone and it is awesome, came takes great pictures, screen is very responsive, and its doesn’t feel cheap, has a nice heft to it. and yes i agree with Bala, All windows mobile does is give you a higher rate plan making it a (smartphone) Well this phone has all those features, plus a lower Rate Plan for data. I give this phone an A+
RE: Bala’s comment
The eternity does not run any version of Windows Mobile. The OS is proprietary with their “TouchWiz” interface.
does not have voice dial
Does not have wi-fi =[
worse than that it does not have speed dial
Speed dial isn’t really necessary. I have this phone (LOVE IT!) and just put a * in front of all my common contacts. They pop to the top of the list in order. It’s one tap to display, one more to dial.
Awsome phone, I cant wait for the update to release, there’s alot of hype in the air and I know we will finally knock the IPhone off its boots, ETERNITY fo life.
just purchased this phone i love it no compliants
I doubt this phone can ever out do the iphone because the iphone’s technology is still ahead of this phones game. It does not navigate as smoothly as the iphone. The browser is clunky compared to the iphones browser. But I’m planning on getting it anyway because I allready have an ipod touch. Just need a phone.
