While Sony Ericsson has their own branded iPhone Killer in Xperia X1, they have decided to join the Open Handset Alliance signaling their desire to build a phone based on Google Android.
No word yet on when their phone will be available but it certainly looks like the Android is getting more and more traction from major industry players.
