Sony Ericsson will join Toshiba as the 2nd phone manufacturers to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor running at 1Ghz to develop the Android based iPhone Killer. The project is currently code named as “Rachael” but probably will get a different name when it launches. The only other info we have heard is, it will support 3.5G at 7.2Mbps, and 8Mpixel camera with autofocus. Stay tuned for more info.

Does anyone has any information on who will carry the Samsung “Rachael” phone?
It’s Sony Ericsson, not Samsung. No word yet on carrier. Sony Ericsson’s initial Experia X1 had some trouble attracting carriers and were sold as unlocked version with no subsidy, which made the sales numbers not too high.
