Kyocera used to be one of the major phone supplier for the US market back in the days. In fact, they were the first company to combine the PDA with a phone, creating the first “smartphone”. However, after serious of missteps along the way they became almost non-existent.

Now, they are making a serious come back with another world’s first dual-screen Android smartphone called Kyocera Echo. Whether this product will be a hit or not is to be seen but I do like their approach to be different than all other wanna be iPhone Killers running on the same OS and same hardware.

Kyocera Echo is available exclusively on the Sprint network, who’s fighting the launch of iPhone 4 on Verizon and Motorola Atrix 4G on Sprint.

Here are the pictures, videos, and high level specs.
